Well, perhaps you won't respond now, but I don't really remember the content of the SI cookie notice.

You are correct, I think it had to be approved before allowing me to use SI, which most other sites have not done. However, I'm guessing other sites set cookies on your computer even if you don't click the "approve" button.

Was the SI agreement somehow more onerous than other ones you've read on other sites?

These days, I worry far more about what Facebook is up to with my data than anything SI might do.
