I am not sure those have the power they might have otherwise. Trump has been crying wolf for 2 years now. Not to mention, gotten the reputation for a class A bullshitter. And the Republicans aren't doing a whole lot better. Which isn't to say there is no chance. But his numbers have a hard ceiling and floor. That is hard to overcome. If the economy slumps, like it seems to be in the process of, then that floor might not be so hard. All bets are off if we get embroiled in a war. That could go either way.
