Many years ago, when I lived and died by pro sports, I was (of course) a diehard Knicks fan. Finishes like Duke-UCF always make me flash back to one game burned into my mind in 1993: "My" Knicks trying to finally beat Jordan's Bulls. Series tied 2-2. Game is in NY at MSG. The score is 95-93 Bulls with 49.6 seconds left. Foul on the Bulls. Charles Smith to the line to tie it. That's the start of the nightmare.
