Hi Janice, I think that we all need to be more considerate of each other in all ways, not just smoking. I am getting a little tired of all the "me first" attitude that I am seeing all over, from driving a car, to shopping. When I decided to quit smoking, I tapered off first by making every cigarette I had a conscious decision. That at least got rid of that automatic lighting up, for instance after a meal, or when the phone rang. It was still tough, and it took several years before I wouldn't think of it any more. I am generally in favor of letting people do what they want, as long as there is not a harmful effect on others. Of course, even driving a car does that, but that is something that is tolerated by society. We need to work on minumizing that effect. Del
