The economy was a record highs before he took office. He had nothing to do with that. It is like his wealth, it is easy to be wealthy when you inherit a bunch.

Good job on trying to move the goal posts, though. The tax cuts and the additional deficit spending, did nothing to improve employment, wages or to change the amount of offshoring. His trade war did have an effect, though. Ford ditched cars totally, car plants are shutting down, Harley Davidson is moving offshore, etc. Soybeans sales have declined by 90% and other agricultural production has slumped.

Kate's thesis was wrong. Which is the tax cuts encouraged expansion in this country and discouraged moving stuff offshore. While there very probably are cases where this happened, it didn't change the ongoing trend towards that.

For that issue, your post isn't even wrong. It is irrelevant.,,,
