Visited AMES, Natick store, today. Different from a few days ago. Men's and boy's clothing still sparse. Many close outs, AMES was lucky to have purchased recently. Tv not much movement. Women's and girl's clothing have plenty of choices, from many countries around the world including USA, Hongkong and Thailand. Women's leather tennis shoes $5/pair. But, inventory of toys is fully stocked. Many huge high end plastic toys $100-200 each. Rubbermaid large storage boxes, high end, up to $99. Outdoor Rubbermaid plastic cabinet $299 each. Appliances restocked. Wood furniture also up to $299 each. These are 600% profit items. Looks like restocked with many many new lines of merchandises, in this store. This year's strategy looks good. Since I have seen similar goods moved out of the store last year. Price points for Ames customers have move up some, but $3-6 US made T-shirts and pants And $0.5-2 each Cannon towels still available. Jan 27th is the last day of the fiscal year. 300% more stock appreciation this coming fiscal year looks good.
