Mon 19 Jan 98 News Release
Mr James McLeod reports
The company is negotiating with a contractor regarding undertaking a
drilling program on its Peace River, Alberta (Buffalo Hills area) property.
The project will initially involve drill testing four shallow, anomalous
areas which rendered positive results in both the low level aeromagnetic
survey and the subsequent detailed ground magnetic follow-up surveys.
The company also anticipates resuming the detailed ground magnetic
follow-up surveys in the near future to test the numerous non-cultural
anomalies which were revealed by the low level aeromagnetic survey
conducted during May 1997. Many of these anomalies appear to be several
hundreds metres in length and width with an overall irregular,
sub-elliptical plan and an indicated depth to top of anomaly of from 10m to
40m. The sedimentary package containing these anomalous zones is thought to
be approximately 2,500m in thickness to the underlying accreted terrain.
A busy exploration period is indicated for this Alberta project during 1998
and a steady flow of news will be forthcoming.

Go here to see what kind of SWEET anomaly targets Alberta offers:

marumresources.com

Click on Vegetation and Topographic Anomalies

There is other interesting info there as well, including 'examples of near surface, high frequency HRAM (High Resolution Aero Magnetic) anomalies.' A must see, folks-- very educational.

These, I believe, were some of the slides presented by Dufresne at the Toronto Geological Soc. talk last week (from Marum's land).

Lots to be excited about in Alberta kids, don't be fooled. ))

Cheers,

He says it's a buy.
