><>...Morning James, could you please document this statement of

yours?.....From scripture of course

"He finally rejects water baptism", ....Who is he?

Have I missed something in another post of yours or are you saying that it is taught in the word of God that after our Lord was baptized it became a dinosaur?.....And His doing it for our example was just a waste of time....Does the Lord Know that?

Shalom...><>

Dear, dear James. I don't know doctrine or preach doctrine. I probably haven't used the word ten times since I got saved.

Doing away with water baptism by Paul kind of scares me since I believe, but am sick of giving nice little quoted Bible studies here, and taking the time and effort to look up the Strongs exact definition of them, all of which is time cosuming and not something I do because I have nothing else to think of in this world. All of these efforts are totally ignored here, so the Lord has released me of the habit.

And I'm sick of so much of my own talking.

Jesus said you must be born of the water and the blood, I believe.
Certainly the water is there. I'll stick with Jesus. I have no problems and have never, in all truth, found any nutty activity surrounding those who quote from the gospels or Acts or the rest of it. Like I say to many people, I would have to know Paul backwards and forwards if I was an apostle or preacher. Sure am not either. Of course the Love chapter is one of the most beautiful on earth.
The rest of it seems very centered on the man himself, and I find myself drifting back to John, James, and I stay there probably a lot as I find more specific instructions there that seem to fit what God is doing in my life, anyway.]

I have read, or been read aloud, or listened to tapes of probably every word now of the N.T., and rarely find anything in the N.T. that is new to me. So, don't worry too much about me at this point in time. Don't think my understanding of scripture is one of the major problems now being mulled around in Heaven. I think there are a few other problems on earth the Holy Spirit is working on, and time spent on me is probably wasted, if you know what I mean.

And to do any more explaining here, it is all obviously ignored.

That is just a general reply because I'm tired of all this for the time, but seriously, if you are worried about my understanding of Paul, I honestly believe this is misdirected energy.
