What is the meaning of "sw"?

dd, A multi-dimensional word, that "sw" is... In military circles it means "send women". "Shortwave" to the ham radio crowd. "Sam Walton" in retail. "Southwest" the way pilots read it... but on this thread I assume it means "software". At least that's what I intended it to "mean" anyway.

<imho> Many on this thread would argue, rightfully so I might add, that "sw" doesn't "mean" -ANYTHING- except when one measures the real impact it has on society as a whole. Dig?

>>...but my knowledge of technical terms and technology is very limited. (I do know how to tell if I have a profit or loss in a stock tho, and for me that is the name of the game).<<

You're way ahead of the crowd dd... I know a guy who bought a camel for $100, sold it for $300, and was peeved because he only made a "measly 3 percent"!... You're way ahead of the crowd.

btw: Ringo is -NOT- going to find out about my PA exploits. Is he.
