Wharfie,
All we can do is upset the balance
Stop right there. There is no such thing as an "environmental balance" because it suggests that tipping one side of it, even a little bit, will cause everything to collapse.

The reality is that Earth's climate is a constantly shifting equilibrium, with many variables contributing to the overall weather and global temperature. Atmospheric CO2 is just one of those variables.

Of course if you change that variable, the effects will be widespread. But the bottom line is that the climate isn't going to hell in a handbasket, despite what Alexandria Occasional-Cortex claims.

7B people, Soon to be 10B people is upsetting the balance. CO2 emissions are incidental. Until the real problem is identified, the real problem will not be solved.

The Climate Change story is just a massive power grab attempt by liberals seeking to implement more and more government control and socialism.
