JM, The FlyBoys have been pounding the beach and surrounding hills all morning and into the afternoon. We have confirmed over 200,000 casualities but the enemy is tough and stubborn. I believe we may have underestimated the number of divisions assigned to prevent the invasion. The FlyBoys will continue to pound them until 4:30 but the enemy(MM's)are dug in deep and their pill boxes are holding up surprisingly well. It looks like its up to the Marines to get the job done. You might have to bring in the 2nd and 3rd wave a few days earlier than anticipated. Come on Marines. Best Regards
