Not that anything is going to convince tv nation of much at this point.
I'm from the generation that didn't trust the "man" and for good reason.

Everyone wants to play the Isles in the playoffs. But their coach won the Stanley Cup last year and he knows what it takes to beat Pittsburgh and Washington. More importantly, this team which was disjointed last season, has completely bought into Trotz's system.
Isles will be a very tough out.

Seriously, if the Isles had Tavares and he bought into Trotz's system, the Isles would be strong enough down the middle to win the Cup. This team scored 40 fewer goals from last year, which is due to Tavares leaving.
Defense and tight checking can take you far in the playoffs. I just wonder how far with a mediocre offense.
Montreal could do the Isles a big favor and beat the Caps on Thursday. Then an Isles win against the Caps on the last day of the season. clinches the division.
