Well the 3-mo. is already "rangebound" so to speak and if you're right (I tend to think you are), then the yield curve is flat, not inverted... the difference has been ± 0.05 longer than it's been inverted... but a flat yield curve for awhile would send a different "msg" than all the talking heads are yammering about lately...

And another pet peeve about talking heads... IMO, there's two yield curve comparisons that interest me: 3-mo/10-yr and 2-yr/10yr... turns out, most talking heads don't seem to know which comparison their mean when referring to "yield curve inversion" because the 2-yr/10-yr has been pretty steady all month... and the 3-mo./10-yr is basically flat, IMO...
