I was wondering about that too. Why pick a day
when the market is closed to release good news ?
I think it reflects what a lot of people here have
been feeling for some time - good engineering staff,
bad marketing/PR staff.

Ash.

Fugazi,

After reading the clear logic pitch carefully, after hearing
competitive takes. What I like about the product is the claim
of 1/2 power consumption.

This on top of the obvious claims, no nre, quick turn around time,
and all that. My sources are emphatic that the claims are true.

The reason, in my very humble opinion, that nobody is going nuts
over the announcement is because few think they can do what they
say they can do and few realize the potential impact as the company
fans out to denser arrays.

Again, I see these guys being very popular in applications that
are concerned with power consumption, like, let's say networking?

But, even though I'm excited about CL, we shouldn't take our eyes
off the C6--that's the big potential.

All of this, just conjecture, of course.
