Several universities have patents on this technology and I have recently started following Manhattan Scientific MHTX. I have heard they now are working on a prototype of the Robert Hockaday' (sp)? model from LANL. The comparison of the standard battery vs the micro-cell are very impressive as the talk time with the micro -cell is over 180 hours vs 2,25 hours with a fully charged cell phone battery. The application for lap-tops is humongous. ~~~~ stay tuned
