sign.....nice post......some good background to start checking on mrvc's "latest" acquisition..........Since Ive been following mrvc its been the history of their company to make an acquisition darn near every 18 months..........last being Elbit in September of 1996.......now Noam does it again..........next one due in mid/late 1999.

My questions......what are sales for xyplex........dilutive or not.....Is this a reactive move by mrvc or are they still in control of their own destiny.......................................later..cmg

Whittaker Acquisition: Whittaker to Buy Xyplex, Inc. from
Raytheon for $117.5
Million, Boosting Communications Position -- March 4, 1996

-------

Anyone have an idea why Whittakeer purchased it for 117.5 mil 7 sold it for 35 Mil?

Looks like maybe they either ran it into the ground, only sold MRVC the Wan part, or since they were restructing wanted to get out fast & before they messed up the co.'s value....and I'd like to think that Whittaker thinks that MRVC is worth a heap more than 35...or at least a little heap!<g>.
