Very true but cost to distribute NG is comparable to electric.. Toronto already has EXTENSIVE NG system.. it is heating fuel of choice...

Elmat, we are not like Norway. Large areas of this state are off the main electrical grid. Much of the electricity is generated by expensive imported diesel fuel. Transport in the sparsely-populated roadless areas is by plane, boat, and snowmobile.
