Is there any news why GMS is up ~15% in the last month? Trying to figure out if it will retrace for a better entry

GMS. Sold a small portion of my position yesterday of this building supplier/distributor held since 2019 on sudden jump in price yesterday, with no accompanying news. Today the news has forthcome: "Home Depot Bid Kicks Off a Battle for $5 Billion Building-Products Company" finance.yahoo.com I have other shares in this subsector: BLD,BLDR, BXC Perhaps not a good time to be here, if the following are true: In many/most parts of the country, it's now cheaper to rent than to buy homes. The supposed shortage in new homes doesn't seem to exist now: Used homes for sales are taking much longer to sell Shares of homebuilder stocks are down.
