Maybe you could take your skills to a local Junior College... or a high school industrial type classroom. You could be a very capable teacher, even if you did something like that on a volunteer basis. Most larger cities also have training programs for the homeless, or addiction recovery folks, and would probably welcome the kind of help you would represent. You don't have to sit around the house waiting for the next SI post.... LOL!
