Wow why does every one change the channel ? Please stay on ;point.. It is better for you, me, and our progeny if the best have opportunity.. This not misplaced altruism on my part.. it is pragmatism.. You choose the lottery of birth.. That is for suckers.. just has expecting equal outcomes is.. Birth is not always a gift.. Rich will always have advantage..That is fine.. I am not rich.. but do really fine.. My family came from poverty to really fine .. My mom changed apartments every 3 months as a kid as her folks (Aunt actually as she was essentially orphaned) tried to stay ahead of cockroaches and bill collectors.. ... going ever cheaper.. Until .. My mom got educated. Finished high school.. no money for University..(A shame with her brains.. Broke the Bell Canada IQ test) . got a good job there .. put my dad through school (university) .. He the only one of 12 sibs that went to university.. partly based on being a supreme athlete.. Mom thought he was rich because he lived in the same slum home in Chinatown for a generation.. did not need to move :)) They owned it.. Again on rich.. My kids will have a windfall when I pass.. I raised them to think no windfall... make your own way.. Nothing is certain in life.. Was being born a gift for Helen Keller ? No.. but it was a gift of hope for many others.. That is fine.. I'm altright Jack is a bad thing for the species... yet embraced n=by many US folks .. seems U2
