until you hafta kill them I am still sobbing and its been two weeks now they wanted to remove an eye, one ear drum, and start the diabetes therapy she was with me every minute of every day except when wife dragged me out to dinner with friends still have some of her stuff to give away

OT: Dogs are the healthiest thing you can add to your life. Amen! In addition to love and companionship, some can FORCE you to exercise. Below is Poppy, a rescue that showed up on my property 6 years ago. She's half Treeing Walker Coonhound and MUST be exercised or she will drive you crazy until you do. I've walked her 5-6 miles daily, rain or shine, since she adopted me.
