The 737 Max was certificated by the FAA as airworthy after the FAA found all aspects of its design, engineering, flight characteristics, pilot/flight engineer/mechanic training and procedures to meet the required criteria.

The FAA has been without a head for over a year.

The fact that FatRump has left the FAA without a permanent head fior over a year is an indication that neither FatRump nor anyone in his administration has the slightest interest in aviation safety.

The fact that FatRump wants the past head of Delta Airlines to run the FAA is another indication he has no interest in aviation safety.

Airlines primary focus is on profits, often at the expense of safety.

The good old USA was the last to ground the 737 Max because of the FAA's priority of profitability over safety concerns.

Would you fly a 737 anytime soon?
