When you say potent . are you talking as a green house gas ?

Obviously it is a potent suffucant.. it also decomposes into h2o and co2 in 10 years or less.. (I guess as long as we have hydroxyl radicals)

As to rewable.. Depends on time frames to be a relevant factor in the here and now.. No different in that than peat.

Are you talking about matural gas . methane a component..
