Boeing's performance here is pretty wretched. They knew their new Max flight platform was inherently unstable and are shocked that their customers actually want reliable aircraft.

I can see their sales pitch; Over here is the base model, very economical. It is unstable, overrides the pilot's commands and crashes. On the right is the upgraded and enhanced model that actually works.
