Well, there is truth in that statement. As evidenced by Citi lending Brazil money to pay the interest on the debt it owed ... to Citi. But Being massively indebted to China or anyone is untenable in the long term. At some point it will present a serious problem for us.

That's an interesting and perhaps insightful analogy. My free advice is that you stick to economics and forego the demographics/ethnic studies which are fraught with traps.
