And an enjoyable one, at that. I'll often take a side in a debate (as perhaps you were doing) that is opposite my own thinking strictly for the sake of debating. <g> Sometimes when I'm forced to argue a notion I didn't originally agree with, I'll end up swaying myself in the process. It's a healthy thing, I think.
