Oh please. Shugart is recognized as the force behind drive technology. The 5 1/4 inch floppy was what made the desktop computer actually usable. Cassette drives wouldn't have cut it and 8 inch drives meant a desk computer, not a desktop. Same with hard drives. Jobs was not a techie. That is what the Woz provided. Vision doesn't help if you don't have something to visualize with. Without the Woz introducing him to blue boxes, Jobs would have not had any background at all. When the Woz produced the Apple I, then Jobs has something to market instead of used cars. Without the Woz, Jobs would have been selling used cars. Now without Jobs, the Woz would have just been another engineer at HP. Still... Wozniak knows how to actually do things. People like Jobs know how to sell them. Both are needed.
