I agree on the fed tax rates in the future, I've followed a similar trad ira-->roth partial conversion strategy.
Just sold VZ which I've held for years. Taking the gains to match some loses from earlier sales this year.
I will be buying back VZ in the next few days. Strictly a tax move. Waited until we were x-divy.
