I very much like CEF's, I own several.

I like the fact that they are quite diversified (depending on your choice of CEF), they hold many companies. These holding are managed by professional money managers with a record you can follow. Many do use leverage, but one can choose to go with ones that use an amount, or not, that you are comfortable with.

Sorry for the typo. I meant, "How safe are the CEFs?"

I guess I really meant to question how safe something that yields 9% could be.
