HELLO ?!?!??!?!?!

"It does not matter where it opens"

HELLO...that is not what you have said in at least one of your posts..

"Reds start out one way
and continue along that line."
(your words)

patrick what does this mean...the dow starts out one way and goes that way or not...

Unless you are saying that red is the pattern..straight..and you get the direction from the moon...the moon says up..and that means straight up...and you buy at the open and it reverses on you..then you stop out

(which is my original question somewhere if you look back about relying on something else to determine direction AND NOT GAUGING IT ON THE OPEN...BUT if it starts one way..and it is down 100 in the first thirty..then the red direction would be DOWN- if you follow the pattern of one way street.)

"....the general concept is that of a one-way street.
You seem to be confusing this with whatever happened the prior day. It is exclusive
of the day before as well as the day after."

Where in the world are you getting these ideas..

If it is a one way street..."it is down from the get go" (your words about a red day , today)...I can trade it down for the day...WHO IS TALKING ABOUT THE NEXT DAY OR THE DAY BEFORE. I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE YOU SAW THAT IN MY POST 'CAUSE IT ISNT THERE. I am not talking about any other day but the Red day.

The whole point is knowing the direction from the beginning which is why I am asking you this and wanting clarification...

A one way street is a one way street...

The market opens down in the first thirty minutes and that is the one way street..then I trade it down...

going down 100 points and then back up to close at the high of the day is not a one way street and I will trade that differently

At what point am I going to know whether DOW is going up or down...based on red one way street...it is a red day today...you said down from the get go..it was up...so it opened up and it will continue up and close at the high of the day...according to a red pattern.

well today it started low and continue up to the high of the day...
we have been up down (negative) up down...so will this fit your red day pattern?

OBVIOUSLY I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE COLOR PATTERNS...NOR DOES MY INDIANA PRECISE MIND (at times) UNDERSTAND YOUR ENGLISH ABOUT THEM

So forget it.

No color days for me.
