Comcast Completes Acquisition of Long Distance Carrier GlobalCom WAYNE, Pa., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA - news, CMCSK - news) today announced it had completed the acquisition of GlobalCom Telecommunications, Inc., a regional based long distance provider.
