I found the announcement, but haven't had time to digest it, so please do. Tuesday, January 20, 1998 09:48 AM VANCOUVER -- Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc. (AGT) announced today that as a result of unusual trading activity, in terms of price and volume, in shares of the Company's common stock, it has determined to no longer permit conversions of its convertible debentures or removal of restrictive transfer legends from shares previously issued upon conversion of its debentures except in very limited circumstances. Robert C. Silzer, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, stated: "The unusual trading market activity not only raised question of compliance with the federal securities laws, but also was interfering with the Company's obtaining necessary financing. The Company took the action because such activity by some security holders was damaging the Company and all its shareholders." The Company expects to commence redeeming for cash, during 1998, its outstanding convertible debentures issued under the provisions of Regulation S.
