To All: I thought you might be interested to know what date January 24 is. Yes, it could be the date of another Naxos news release, but it also it the 150th Anniversary of the first major gold strike in North America. It occurred at Sutter's Mill, near the Sacramento River in California, in 1848. In the winter of 1847-48 John Augustus Sutter was having a sawmill built. His carpenter, John Marshall, found gold on January 24, 1848. By the following year about 80,000 "forty-niners" had stampeded to the California goldfields, and 250,000 had made it by 1853.

Most of you are probably aware of this, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Kurt

Michael,
Thanks for responding. I have heard(I am not altogether sure) that the J/L fire assay is a standard fire assay. (I repeat that I am not 100% sure about that, does anybody else know?) What about check assays by other labs on the same COC ore? Does that do anything for you? Just curious.
