It was verbal comment from the Bell Atlantic guy at Internet World last November.

That's not my understanding of how it works. Your telephone company can provide the internet service.


Your telco may be able to become an ISP but will they? Bell Atlantic won't.

And how exactly do they get cable modem service on the road?


The choices were 56k and ADSL in your question.
