I think he is number four in world ranking.

Yes, he has won three of his last six or three of the last seven in total, which is pretty good!

I remember when he won at Erin Hills. I found no fault at all with his playing. He was the best player, but I did not consider Erin Hills to be a US Open course...more a PGA type course. Then he won again at Shinnecock and that is a US Open course to the max.

The guy is the real deal.

I have a hunch about him. He only gets crazy motivated for the majors. It's just his thing.

Amazing how Brooks can turn his game around from one week to the next. At the Dell, he halved his match with Tom Lewis, then got pasted by Hao Tong Li and Alex Noren. I saw him chunk a chip on one hole, then skull it over the green. No better than a Saturday morning duffer.
