Re: HCOM. The people that are shorting it are probably the same people who own the convertible preferred. Its an excellent little deal for them in 3 stages- 1. short the stock to low levels, 2. at lower prices convert their preferred to common so they get more, 3. cover their shorts with all the cheap common stock they just acquired. Its probably going to get a lot worse before it gets better... if you time it right you might be able to catch the stage 3 covering phase and make some dough.
