The Democrat Party looks unhinged as its mask of civility melts like a House of Wax on fire. Democrats have abandoned incremental socialism in favor of an all-out attack on the political sensibilities of the nation. Looks can be deceiving. There is a plan. Democrats believe they can win in 2020. By following a hard left line, they will not have to hold back once they assume control of Washington again. They also figure that if they fail, so what? They nominated McGovern in 1972 and lost a record 49 states. No one was that incompetent before. But four years later, Jimmy Carter won. Thus, they have nothing to lose by being radical, and in fact they believe they gain even if they lose because they will have moved the center of American politics leftward. Democrats believe they have a shot at regaining Congress. They believe they can hold on to the House and pick up the Senate because Republicans have to defend 22 seats while Democrats have only 12 seats up. The map shows only two of those Republican seats are in a state that Hillary won, and one Democrat seat is in Trump country. But if they win the presidency, they will carry more states such as Arizona, Iowa and Michigan. Add pickups in the Hillary states of Colorado and Maine while maintaining the Senate seat in Alabama, and suddenly Democrats are up 52-48 in the Senate. Democrats believe that is the minimum they will do because they believe the media and all the hoax scandals have so damaged President Donald John Trump that the only people who will vote for him are the people who voted for him last time. This will open more states to them and their Senate candidates. Um, I think I found the flaw in that plan. He won with us last time. But it is springtime for Democrats. We now know why they have gone into an all-out blitz.
