Now that I can relate to. Interesting the lead time on these things. Shows the value of an established company like THQI to game developers.

Here's the THQI/EA Article....

This is good news and its interesting to see EA subcontracting
these out to THQ. It's too bad THQ didn't get the higher
margin Playstation rights as well.

THQ Inks Deal to Publish Two Popular Electronics Arts Games on Nintendo 64

CALABASAS, Calif.--THQ Inc. (Nasdaq NMS:THQI) Tuesday announced
that it has entered into an agreement with Electronic Arts (EA)
to develop and publish two of EA's top-selling games,
"Road Rash" and "Nuclear Strike" on the Nintendo 64 game system.

"Road Rash," a motorcycle racing and combat game, and "Nuclear Strike," the latest action game in EA's Strike series, are
scheduled for worldwide launch in 1999.

"Road Rash," an aggressive and hard-hitting motorcycle racing
combat game, challenges players to dodge traffic, outrun cops and
use various methods of combat on their way to winning the racing
championship.

"Nuclear Strike" drops players into the jungles of Southeast Asia
in a fight to stop a tyrant who is holding the world hostage with
a nuclear threat. Players must complete detailed missions within
five levels of play in order to neutralize the tyrant, LeMonde,
before he unleashes a nuclear weapon on the world.

"We are delighted to be expanding our product line to include
such high-profile titles as 'Road Rash' and 'Nuclear Strike',"

Vic, anyone, what's going on here? Seems that 50,000 shares or so traded right around twenty, and then a couple minutes later the same thing. We went from a volume of 50-some-thousand to over 150,000.
