Sonny: I am not in drug stocks any more. I will get in when they come down - which may not happen. I just got out of Dell just a little while ago, when the price started deteriorating. The support level for Dell is $85 as of now. I can't afford to take the loss, now. The intermediate and long-term positions are good. There is a formation of symmetrical Triangle, which is usually bullish if the stock is trending up. The technicals got a little complicated, in the sense that there is also a suggestion of a H & Q formation. The last candlestick is a hanging man, not a good one. Please read my posts to Chris of the Stock Analysis thread for details. Chris' reply is also worth noting. All these posts back and forth were done yesterday. I thought something is wrong with the technicals. On top of that, there is this analysts caution against box makers.
I am glad that GLM is doing well.
Sonny, I am trying to develop a method in stock buying. I am going to buy at support levels and sell at resistance.
So far MRK is concerned, the gap up was the reason for me selling it. I was afraid that it will gap down.
Getting into Internet without the intermediary of ISP is good news. Also, as you said that telephone lines can be used at the same time makes it that much more attractive.

Sonny, CNBC has been talking about the AHP/SBH merger all day. I have put up several synopsi as well as WSJ and Financial Times reports. They are linked to the Alliance section (under SBH and AHP) of Ligand Links ( home.att.net ). I have also included a synopsis of the Miriola Hagger interview.

Sonny, SFA

Man, that was close. I almost bought sfa, then I heard the good news about the new net hookup from intc etc.

This should put the cable companies out of the net business. gg
