That's too wierd. Can it be that easy?

I think people were expecting to hear that ashton found only one diamond but it consumed the entire drill core, so they couldn't determine the size other than it is at least 500 pounds with no inclusions and perfect in every way. But hey this is speculation on mine potential, not magic. It will do well in the next while. The people who were in for a quick buck are gone. Now we can get on with exploration.

Thanks for your posts Jesse, always informative.

Cheers

Jesse - neat photos at the Marum site. Computers can really have a field day with the Alberta geophysical data because the pipes stand out well. Yes, a couple of those photos were shown at the Toronto Geological Discusion Group meeting last week. Another point that was raised last week by Mike is that an initial groundwork stage here is to auger drill anomalies such as the tree forestation area before diamond drilling soas to save money and confirm indicator minerals in the soil.

May not be appropriate for this discussion but if we are questioning the integrity of the alberta play I got some questions of the data from this site.

Interesting pics, but what exactly is "structural density". These images of magnetic data are without scale and present two diffent amplitude data sets, that being the surface and the colour. The surface data contains high frequency data that indicate shallow near surface sources. These could not pass through a low band-pass filter.
The text with these pics appears contadictory. This type of presentation does not help with the credibility of a play!

However, the topo is so nice it belongs on the wall of a british pub.
