I2, My regards for looking deeply into my post and examining it with scrutiny. Concerning the 87 "debacle", You're absolutely right that this cannot be ignored...and I have carefully assigned it its proper role in the first Wave of the supercycle begun 8/13/92. How so? If you know wave analysis (and it sounds like you do), you know that the first wave of a supercycle would itself subdivide into 5 waves, known as cycles. So in order to determine where wave one of the supercycle ends, one must be able to break that #1 wave down into 5 separate waves, 3 up and 2 down. If you look closely at a monthly or weekly chart of the SPX, you will note that there were 5 clear cut waves from 8/13/82 to 2/04/94, with wave 1 ending in.... you guessed it.... the peak before the 87 "pullback" (if it can be described as such). Right after the '87 crash, after the first couple months, the bull run quickly resumed (here we began wave 3 up of this first supercycle wave), and this wave 3 move carried through until 1/5/90 (360 on the SPX). From here we had our 4th wave correction into 10/19/90 (296.40 SPX). The 5th wave move up began here and carried the SPX up to 482 on 2/4/94, and thus, the 5 waves were completed of the 1st wave of the supercycle. After the sideways to down period of most of '94, I'd like you to notice on your monthly or weekly chart the TOTAL CHANGE OF TRAJECTORY!! This is the clear confirming indicator that this analysis is correct, and we entered into a new "dispensation", and as you know, a strong wave 3 can take you into a whole 'nother dimension!! This one lived up to all expectations in my mind. But wave 5 can be even more climactic in a parabolic style chart formation which we have developed over the last decade (on a monthly or weekly chart). I know there will be a few bulls climaxing..<g>. Just remember, don't pop til 10000 pops! <g>. Yours, David
