Vilifying Alan, and then running to uphold the memory of the decased Anton LeVey as a "son of Adam" was blasphemy, mixed with a certain insanity. I personally have nothing more to say, and won't.

Emile, You should take your own advice.

Emile, I don't know if you have read this thread in its entirety before posting here. I read the whole thing before I ever posted. It is quite a bit different from the "Ask God" thread, for instance. The style of each thread on SI is different, and I believe one ought to respond in the spirit of the thread in question.
You will find that this is a very gentle-spirited thread in which people take care to assure that no-one is hurt in the process of discussion of issues. Politeness is emphasized, everyone is welcomed as a brother or sister, and no-one feels afraid to post for fear of sarcasm or attack.
Your underlying point, regarding the proper attitude with regard to an unsaved person who dies, is a valid one and one on which I believe I agree with you, but it was not presented in the proper spirit of the thread. This is not the place for knock-down, drag-out ideological battles, but for kind, loving conversation. Please read the thread before continuing to post.
Your brother in Christ, Kenneth
