Susan, Since we are still in a quiet period, speculation is about all we have left so why not. :) I think that it is possible that Smartalk still has some interest in DCI since we are still in the prepaid phone card business in Canada, but sort of doubt the merger idea. If this was the plan after all, why would they have bought the rights to sell prepaid phone cards through the W. H. Smith outlets seperately? I would not however rule out your idea completely...:)

I *think* I agree with James' take on a Smarttalk merger but -- after I thought I had at least part of the puzzle figured out -- when talk about CLECs and RBOCs started a few days ago most of my theories went straight down the tubes. Right now, I feel about as clueless as one can get (and that not only applies to what DCI is going to do but to what the MMs continue to do).

The upside is less than an hour remains before we get our first "clue" :-).
