By the way, KOPN announced today that they had dropped another Mil on revenues of 5 Mil. The market ate it up, boosting the stock to 19! I guess that 2M share secondary offering hasn't hit the market yet, and Kopin looks sure to miss their prediction of profitability next quarter at the latest, since a gross margin of -20% is not a quick one quarter turnaround.

Maybe if TFS loses a Mil this quarter, it'll also see a much needed stock price boost???

Hi FMH:
Yahoo is having some trouble at the moment, but I did get to their KOPN news screen.

I am not the tech specialist on this thread, but I do not read KOPN's announcement as being all that threatening. They seem, to me, to have the same sort of device as TFS with much less resolution, and they are loosing a ton of money in the meanwhile. Research needs money, I know! It helps if it can take place in a profitable company. To match TFS's resolution will, I presume, require yet more expenditures/losses.

TFS already has a strong business, good client relations, all the things a good business needs. All else being equal, I would say KOPN might have a problem.

All this implies that, one way or another, we are going to keep seing interesting developments in our future.
