Agree we're well situated. I think, as the article perhaps hints, that the Chinese don't yet fully understand the nature of the issue, or the degree to which their "miracle" has been being subsidized by our choices. Too many seem to think our enabling choices are unchangeable, and now define their rights ? That won't work. Agree with you on tariffs... we should accelerate them... and not just for the Chinese. I'd prefer we not have tariffs at all, but don't think we should have lower tariffs than our trading partners. Fair trade requires reciprocity. Without it... don't trade.
