Art Laffer, who I didn't agree with much back during the housing bubble, made a point recently that he believes the stock market plunge of mid 2008 to March 2009 was magnified by discounting that Obama was going to be the next president which scared the shit out of capitalists. They overdid it on the downside then Bernanke and central bankers globally in unison 'saved' the day.. Scary half the country still thinks Obama the messiah..
