One of the reasons may be the rumor that Cabot (Carlton Lutts) Newsletter is putting ZOLT back on the buy list (up form hold).

Maverick-

<<Mike, do you think $27 is near or at the bottom? >>

I don't think bottoms jump out and grab you...So it is hard to tell...I can only say that at 34 times trail earnings and about 20 times next year's estimated, this is actually cheaper than it was when I got excited about it last time (in April at 22 3/4....) I console myself by realizing I never get the exact bottom and usually miss the top by a wide swath (took partial profit at 46 and the rest in low 50's....)

The trick seems to me is to not get snookered into paying way too much and it seems to me we have avoided that! I actually thought anything under $40 bucks was a pretty good deal...but decided to hold off until the knife slowed down...

One hint of that could actually be the fact that we didn't have a characteristic bounce from the intraday low...There has been technical damage to the chart so I don't think we will see a multiple day wild surge any time soon, but won't be too surprised if what we saw was a bottom....I certainly don't expect the stock to trade below the April bottom and doubt there are many holders expecting great things from next quarter's earnings....Any disappointment could/should already be factored into this price!

I guess my point is that this is a far better price than I thought I'd ever see again for Zoltek and rather than miss it...I am going to get my feet wet.

Mike

Well, I can tell you why I (and probably a great deal of others) got into Zolt today: Technicals.

You can draw a beautiful straight line over the highs of Zolt from Oct. thru Jan. It broke that trendline Friday, so I bought in.
