Noticed AOL announced 11 million subscribers today. From the way the announcement is worded, it appears they count them as soon as they sign up. Seems like they ought to wait a month until the subscribers are billed for the service.

I am sure this announcement was timed to counteract news of the consortium. If AOL were really all that profitable and the stock was expected to rise unabated why did so many insiders file to sell $23M worth of stock in December:
