Romney is a swamp loser who got rolled by Candy Crowley. Trump is a winner from outside the swamp. Romney probably thinks he has some chance to be elected President in 2020.

"Trump made his share of mistakes with his appointments... fortunately, Romney didn't become one of them." Amen to that. Mitt is coming off as a sore loser. It is a good thing we do not have to count on his vote in the Senate. I think he could be the same as Jeff Flake. It is interesting how the game has shifted so quickly. Collusion is not even mentioned. The bottom line is the game of many is to simply destroy Trump - and the biggest casualties are the destroyers who are showing what miserable opportunist creatures they are. My three loony lefty explanations may need to amended to four. 1. Plain stupid - eg AOC. 2. Willfully uninformed - normally good people who have lost their minds. 3. Intellectually dishonest - those who know better - like Schumer. 4. Pathologically evil - this is needed as their pathology goes beyond simple intellectual dishonesty.
