I think the nature of this investment makes these sorts of discussions prone to paranoia. There's some negative kharma here, in trying to make money off an apocalyptic scenario. Sure, there's realism and well-intentioned remediation. But there's also a desire to see things get really ugly so that there's more need to spend money on fixing it. Spinning doomsday scenarios while counting golden eggs is bound to generate the sort of cognitive dissonance that yields paranoia, and worse. That said, go TPRO.
